With this game you are a girl named Ary who is on a quest to find her brother who has disappeared, and was supposed to take over the winter season in Yule(Which is the area that is supposed to winter all year long). Reason you are taking over the winter season is because your father is ill and your brother whose disappeared is the one the that is supposed to take over the roll of winter.
Each town in the game is a different season as well as they are designed on different cultural inspirations.(Asia, Greek, ect) As you play you will unlock more of your powers, you are able to control seasons, and some of your seasons react more with your surroundings, like winter with water and so on. You will also be able to get to parts of the world with the help of your elemental powers, also you you can use elemental expansion with the help from world items.
You can also use physical items to get elemental changes to places you cant reach, like slingshot winter into the late you need to cross or on summer on to a snowy hill that has a cave on it that may be blocked ! The choices are truly endless! Besides that within the game different NPC’s will will give you quests in the main game, also there is a stealth feature for fighting(more on that at launch).
This game has four big zones to explore, making it for a long and fun game that you wont have to worry about content for. From what I have played already I think this game is amazing, and I can’t wait for its release, I cant wait to see how it plays on the switch to be honest.
