As you all are aware of that Platinum games and Nintendo have a remastered and rerelease of the games Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2. So far I have beaten the games and I have to say they did an awesome job with the port over to the Switch. The controls feel natural and the graphics look fantastic. The only thing that I have noticed is that the system overheats just a little bit when playing either games. I think this because the game is using all of the graphic power that the switch has to offer. With that being said, these games are still awesome as ever, the story of both are perfectly made. They keep you entertained and in suspense, you have do have a lot of collectables to find and you have many weapons to use as well. To give you a brief summary of the games, you are an Umbrean witch with no recollection of your memories(1st game) you have to find out what is going on and who you are while defeating hoards of angels.
Bayonetta & Bayonetta 2 on the Switch
In the second one you have to help a kid you find, find out who he is and what is the errand he was tasked with in order for you to rescue your friends soul that was dragged to hell. With this being said you go through hell and back with the kid in order to get your friends soul back and save her life. Along the way you end up meeting your father in the most weird way, he then he tells you about your mother who was the witch and him being an angel, how they were in love and had a child together which turns out to be you. But you don’t realize it right away until you see a scene from the past and everything comes back to you. In this game you have Heaven and hell coming after you while you trying to find out what is going on and trying to piece things together. This game was one of the best games that I have ever played. They also set up that there will be a sequel to this game, if this is the case I hope it’s soon. Because they really did an awesome job with Bayonetta 2, they have the momentum and I hope they put it to good use. Like I said before one of the best games I have ever played, from when it first came out for the ps3 and then on the Wii U when Nintendo paid for the release of Bayonetta 2.(Yes Nintendo paid for the production of Bayonetta 2)
That is why it’s not on all the other consoles. With that being said don’t expect a long story mode Bayonetta 2 caps at around 6hrs maybe 7, that is if you don’t go for all of the collectables. If you do go for all of the collectables you may as well be looking at 8 to 10 hours. In closing this is definitely a must have set of games that I would recommend to everyone that is 18 and over! To reiterate 18 AND OVER! This game has so much adult humor and sexual content, so don’t play this game around any small kids. Trust me you won’t want to explain “Why’s there a naked lady on the screen” ! Thank you for stopping by, I will be restarting these games and streaming them in the following weeks so please stay tuned to my twitter and twitch for more details.
